Vaccinations You Need

CDC recommends these vaccines be taken for a minimum of 30 days before your travel to Indonesia.  We have selected some that are the most vital.

  • COVID-19 vaccines + booster (Without or just taking 1 dose out of the COVID-19 full vaccination, you are to observe mandatory quarantine in Indonesia at your own expense)
  • Rabies (It will be very likely to encounter dogs and other mammals in Indonesia, consider taking this vaccine as a precaution)
  • Hepatitis A and B (For those who have not been vaccinated and infants who are 6 to 11 months old)
  • Measles-Mumps-Rubella-Varicella or Chickenpox (MMRV vaccine is recommended to use for children ages 1 to 12. Teenagers and adults need to update their MMR vaccine especially if they have never suffered from chickenpox before, have a weak immune system, and have not yet received the vaccine)
  • Typhoid (Typhoid vaccine is very beneficial if you visit an area where it is common to encounter typhoid fever from a Salmonella typhi bacteria in contaminated food or drink, get a dose of it minimum 2 weeks prior to your journey. The vaccine should be administered repeatedly every 2 years. The shot can be taken by a 2-year-old toddler and above.)
